Ideally I will be a resident 4 years after college. This means that I will be almost interning to learn more about the medical field i wish to enter. I will be making around 40,000 a year as a resident. This means I will be on a strict budget and have almost no extra money. I can probably save some by rooming with another resident.  As a resident I will only be able to buy the necessities, like food and power. This kinda freaked me out. I didn't know how little the residents make. Its good residency is only about 3 or 4 years.
