Managing Conflict

One of the key roles in being a leader is the ability to control the people in your team and influence their actions. In this way it is important that the leader of a group have the ability to calm his constituents. This is the ability to manage conflict.  

One example of a time where i had to manage conflict was when I had to keep my sisters from killing each other over the last uncustable in the fridge. I had to use the correct balance of force and kindness to handle the situation without joining the conflict myself. 

Going forward i have noticed that different intensities of conflict require different techniques to handle. As i go forward i think that this expireince will help with handlig conflicts in the workplace or home.
